On the IMR, mixer basin emptying is performed by tipping the mixer basin via the rack-guided lifting system. Lifting is driven by an independent gearbox motor fitted with a motor brake to hold the mixer basin securely in position. Stainless steel perimeter guards are provided to protect the operator during mixer basin raising/lowering and in the discharge area.
